Wasn't pleased with UPS, particularly - the driver just left the product leaning up against the porch; didn't ring our bell or knock. He also left another package on the porch. I saw that package but didn't even see the box for the stand. Not a very professional delivery.
That said, once I finally got the package inside (it's quite heavy) and opened, it was basically a breeze to put together. The only complaint I have is the minuscule tolerances for the shelves. It was all put together except for the two lower shelves and they wouldn't go in - had to loosen connections (not easy when it is standing up and all together) to allow the glass to slip into place (with some pushing).
The stand is quite beautiful and easily holds our 42" television at exactly the right height (with a little trial and error). We were afraid the black glass would show dust really badly, but that isn't the case. Very sleek and attractive.
