The Techcraft Veneto SWP60 TV Stand is a substantial piece of furniture. The quality of the fit and finish is excellent, and I would not hesitate to purchase additional Techcraft items. The top piece, door frames and legs are made from solid wood as opposed to particle board, and all the laminated pieces are well constructed.
The assembly took a couple of casual hours, two people could probably cut that time in half or less. The assembly instructions were entirely pictoral, which was fine. It does take a little "studying" and comparison of the parts to the images in order to complete the task. There was only one "monkey on a football" moment for me. If I had to assemble another unit, I could do it in about 45 minutes.
As mentioned in other reviews, make sure before you order this that the interior dimensions will work for you. There's an illustrated lineart image with dimensions attached to this Amazon listing. The center section will contain a center channel speaker behind the door, which is covered with speaker cloth. The pre-drilled holes for the shelf support may not allow for the exact vertical position you want for your speaker, but it worked for me.
All in all, I believe the Techcraft Veneto is a great deal.
